He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Shambour and Anna Shambour (Maruska); his wife Mary Ann (Malecha); his sister Mary Catherine Shambour; his children, Roger (Jeannie), Kathryn Blonigan (Steve), Michael (Judy) and Patrice Schanus (Wayne); and his sisters-in-law, Eleanore Jirik and Georgine Malecha. He was also cherished by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Most Holy Trinity Church in Veseli or St Scholastica Monastery in Duluth.
