He was predeceased by : his father Milton C. Simon; his wife Nancy Simon; his daughter Candace; his grandson Jase Simon; and his brother Kevin.

He is survived by : his mother Janet M. Simon (Turek) of New Prague; his sons, Brian Simon (Rachel Johnson) of Veseli and Eric Simon (Nina Brindamour) of Veseli; his granddaughter Addilyn Simon; and his siblings, Dan Simon of Veseli, Karen Indgjer (Randy) of Mechanicsville, MD, Diane Pexa (Randy) of Jacobson and Doris Gillen (Jon) of New Prague.

Visitation was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bruzek Funeral Home (610 Main St E, New Prague, MN 56071). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church (4939 Washington St, Lonsdale, MN 55046).
