It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley L. Hohenstein of Vernon Center, Minnesota, born in Mankato, Minnesota, who passed away on July 26, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard and Verna Hohenstein (Butson); his siblings, Marilyn Lentz (Harlan) and Dean (Donna); and his parents-in-law, Donald and Doris Mertesdorf.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Kay; his daughters, Beth Hohenstein and Rebecca Wellbrock (Jim) of Faribault; his grandchildren, Nathan, Laura and Graham Wellbrock; and his sister-in-law Debra Curran (Mike). He is also survived by nephews, nieces and cousins.
Memorial donations may be designated to the Vernon Center Volunteer Fire Department, the Buyck Volunteer Fire Department or the donor's choice.
