She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Brandts; her grandson Matthew Sexton; her siblings, Bill Roelofs, Harry Roelofs, Theodore Roelofs, Gerard Roelofs and Maria Roelofs; and her son-in-law Bruce Tipcke.
She is survived by: her children, John (Deborah) of Echo, Marie Tipcke (Ron Giving) of Red Wing, Paul (Roxie) of Garden City, Helen Sexton (Larry) of Janesville and Joel (Teresa) of Mankato; her sisters-in-law, Mimy Brandts of St. James and Catherina Roelofs of Vernon Center; and also The Netherlands. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
