He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Kietzer and Esther Kietzer (Urban); his wife Doris Kietzer; his parents-in-law, Jacob and Martha Denn; his brothers, Willard, John and Hartwin Kietzer; and his siblings-in-law, Marion Van Sickle (Darrel "Van"), Bernice Bailey (Richard "Bailey"), Warren Denn (Sylvia), Robert Denn (Esther), Iona Kietzer and Lois Kietzer.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey Kietzer (Jane) of Vernon Center and Jonathan Kietzer (Cheryl) of Mankato; his grandchildren, Krista Kietzer (Joe), Lucas Kietzer (Sara), Jennifer Marzen (Matt), Jessica Engelen (Jeremy), Jodi Hoverson (Sam), Tyler Kietzer (Augustine), Courtney Kietzer and Samuel Kietzer; his great grandchildren, Gabriel, Jadyn Kietzer, Maddison, Wesley Marzen, Karly, Evelyn Hoverson, Abby, Mason, Allie, Brynn Engelen and Analiah Kietzer; and his siblings-in-law, Richard "Butch" Denn (Barbara) and Betty Kietzer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials are preferred to go to those organizations.
