It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Homer Stinar of Verndale, Minnesota, born in Casper, Wyoming, who passed away on March 20, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Rhoda (Anderson); his son Rick Stinar; and his siblings, Ilo Thorne, Vivian Johnson and Audrey Kalahar.
He is survived by: his brother Fred Stinar Jr.; his children, Steve Stinar (Rosie), Mike Stinar (Delle), Brad Stinar (Brenda), Shari Mattson (Daryl) and Michelle Schluttner (Art); and his daughter-in-law Jean Stinar. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and 26 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many beloved friends.
