He is survived by: his wife Marie Metz; his children, Stephanie Nelson of Detroit Lakes, MN and Jack Nelson (Kaytee Groshans) of Billings, MT; and his siblings, Sharon Kirsch of Mahnomen, MN, Kathy Hupe (Claude), Diane Meier (Brian) of Big Lake, MN, Jack Nelson of Ponsford, MN and Susie Nelson of Big Lake, MN. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
