She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wendt and Bertha Wendt (Kratzke); her sisters, Georgia Bentley and Gladys Schepper; her husband Rodney Richter of Paul's Lutheran Loon Lake Church; and her son John Richter.
She is survived by: her children, Meribeth Tieden (Michael) of Perham, MN, David Richter (Julie) of Bethel, MO, Virginia Thon (Paul) of Frazee, MN and Paul Richter (Linda) of Aurora, SD; and her daughter-in-law Linda Richter of El Paso, TX. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
