Duane Strand Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Duane Strand of Vergas, Minnesota, born in Perham, Minnesota, who passed away on December 9, 2020 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Axel Strand and Hazel Strand (Johnson); his siblings, Donald Strand and Carolyn Alberts; his brothers-in-law, Jack Snyder and Alfred Alberts; his niece Tabby Belmonte; his nephew Thomas Bergeron; and his parents-in-law, Emery and Opal Stordahl.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Strand (Stordahl); his children, Jennifer Jung (Nicholas), Shawn Strand, Tim Strand and David Strand; his grandchildren, Axel and Emerson Jung; and his sister Nancy Snyder. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p. m. on Wednesday, December 16 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Loon Lake near Vergas, MN with walk-through visitation from 11:00 a. m. to 1:00 p. m. Masks and social distancing are required.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Paul's Lutheran Church Loon Lake: Major Projects Fund.
