He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Bunkowski and Alma Bunkowski (Sonnenberg); his wife Janette Bunkowski; his son Todd Bunkowski; his brother Robert Bunkowski; and his brother-in-law Clyde Glawe.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Bunkowski (Julie) of Sartell, MN, Tom Bunkowski (Karen) of Vergas, Scott Bunkowski (Karen) of Fountain City, Wisconsin and Jodi Kako of Nevis, MN; and his sister Leola Ferber of Detroit Lakes. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
