With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Johnson of Vadnais Heights, Minnesota, born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on December 17, 2022 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ronald Johnson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy C. Johnson and Eleanor E. Johnson (Lindroth); his brothers, Brian and Curt; his grandson Peter Carlson; and his nephew Adam Mickelson.

He is survived by: his wife Fran; his children, Mary Nelson (Jan), Eric (Jan), Paul (Terri), Marcia Carlson (Lane) and Dean (Mary); his grandchildren, Derek Nelson (Christine), Julie Sanz Nelson (Alvaro), Amber Johnson, Jasmine Johnson, David Johnson, Glen Strouf-Johnson (Alex), Audrey Merry (Ben), Carolyn Carlson, Wendy Carlson, Hannah Johnson, Haley Johnson and Parker Johnson; his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Charlotte, Lucas Nelson, Anna, Elliott Johnson, Lena Strouf-Johnson and Vera Sanz-Nelson; and his siblings, Darrel (Judy), Kerry (Tricia), Greg (Kim) and Cheryl Mickelson (Tom). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the MS Society or Children's Minnesota.
