She was predeceased by: her husband Karl S. Speak; and her son-in-law Glen Markfort. She is survived by: her children, Linda Markfort, Karl Speak (Beth) and Kevin Speak (Amy); her grandchildren, Aaron Speak, Tim Markfort, Kathryn Henriksen, Nathan Markfort and David Speak; and her sister Arlene Hiles. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
