He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sievert and Thelma Sievert (Bogardus); and his wife Joyce Denzer Rain (Glenna). He is survived by: his stepchild Lee Rain (Deena) of Utica; his grandchildren, Collin, Cody and Camryn Rain; his cousin Kent Bogardus of Council Bluffs, IA; his flea market buddies, Jeff and Kent; and his pet Karl.
