We are sad to announce that on December 25, 2021, at the age of 83, Joseph Ernest Schumer of Upsala, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by his children, Pat (Lynn) of Shoreview, Marvin (Gayle) of Big Lake, Tim of Ramona, OK, Steve (Laurie) of Manvel, ND, Michelle of Upsala, Rob of Holdingford, Alan of St. Cloud, Sherry of Little Falls and his daughter-in-law Annette Schumer of Gilman; his godchildren, Jackie Lee, Melinda Hoefer, Guatemalan, Juan Zamora and Carlos Hernandez; and his siblings, Jim Schumer, Barbara Loehlein, Sr., Mary Schumer, Cynthia Anderson, Ruth Botbyl and Ramona Fisher, He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Elaine Schumer (Sanoski), son Mark, parents John and Martha Schumer (Justin), brothers John, Terry and Emmett Schumer and sisters Kathleen Vouk and Lucy Schumer (infant).
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to CHI Hospice in Little Falls or the Morrison County Food Shelf.
