She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcus Petersen and Ruby Petersen (Melin); her husband Ernie Friesen; and her siblings, Elvera Kienbaum and Lothard Petersen.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Henry Kienbaum, Paul Kienbaum, Ruby Kienbaum and Rebecca Kienbaum; and her great-nieces, Brittany Vogel and Bella Lopez.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Elmdale Evangelical Free Cemetery.
