He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Gapinski and Bernice Gapinski (Holovnia); and his brothers, Sylvester, Richard and Eugene.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Mia, Zach, Eddie, Isaac, Noah, Nora and Felix; his wife Yvonne (Helmin); his children, Andrea Werden (Christian), Eric, Aaron (Angie), Ben (Leah) and Adam; and his brothers, David (Jean) and Thomas (JoAnn).
