He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Gunderson and Hannah Gunderson (Lindquist); his brothers, Arvid and Roger Gunderson; and his siblings-in-law, Genevieve Gunderson (Dahl) and Walter Schmidt.
He is survived by: his sister Fern Schmidt; and his nephews, David Schmidt (Cheryl), Daryl Schmidt (Vicki Lee), Dennis Schmidt (Jennifer), Duane Schmidt (Sue) and Eric Gunderson. He is also survived by seven great- nieces and nephews, and eleven great-great- nieces and nephews.
