He was predeceased by: his parents, Ragnar Olson and Alice Olson (Selander); his son Nicholas Dean Olson; and his brothers-in-law, Dale Stine and Buddy Coughran.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kristina Jorgenson (Mark) of Fergus Falls and Rebecca Koskela (Merlin) of Maple Grove; his grandchildren, Shelby Orf (Nick) and Joey Jorgenson; and his sisters, Donna Stine of Brooklyn Park, Anita Coughran of Bakersfield, CA and Maureen Jacobson (Donald) of Underwood. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
