He was predeceased by: his parents, Hanord Hilde and Amanda Hilde (Braseth); his wife Alice Shaw; his daughter Diane; his granddaughter-in-law Afton Braseth; his siblings, Harry (Orpha), Lowell (Alida), Wallace (Marion), James (Leona) and MaryLou Syverson (Marlyn); and his nephews, Jimmy Hilde, Larry Hilde and Larry Shaw.
He is survived by: his children, Mike (Lesa) of Ulen, Debra Armstrong (Terry) of Moorhead, MN, DeEtt Braseth (David) of Ulen and Dorene Rurup of Moorhead; his grandchildren, Shelby, Samuel, Shawn, Miranda, Luke, Natasha, Nolan, Nickoli, Brandon, Jay and Dana; and his cousins, Waldo Hilde, Donny Hilde, David Hilde, Duane Braseth, Darlene Boe and Constance Swenson. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
