As Darlene departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Darlene. Though Darlene may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Hettenbaugh and Leona Hettenbaugh (Davis); her husband Roger Nord; and her son-in-law Dave Corwin. She is survived by: her children, Lorelei Corwin, Brenda West-Dusek (Jeff), Val Jacobson (Gary) and Eric Nord (Suzette); and her sisters, Gwen Nodsle and Jeanne Seter. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home and Cremation Service- Hawley And (404 Leonard St, Hawley, MN 56549). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
