She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Asleson and Pearl Asleson (Nygaard); and her brother Michael Asleson. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Bakke; her children, Daren Bakke (Brandy), Wade Bakke (Rhonda), Bobbie Bakke and Donne Bakke (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Rosie, Brandon, Rilee (Levi), Landon, Jada, Carson, Aurora, Zara, Kevin and Emma; her great grandchild Charlee; and her sisters, Bonnie Brenna (Clair), Beverly Hansen (Gayle) and Beth Burnside. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Barbara's family prefers that trees be planted in her memory or memorials given to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
