He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Thooft and Victoria Thooft (DeBaere); his grandson Theo Paluch; his parents-in-law, Bernie and Donna Goblirsch; his nephew Rustin Thooft; his niece Jodi Pries; and his sister-in-law Lisa Goblirsch.
He is survived by: his wife Pam Goblirsch; his children, Brent Thooft (Sara) of Russell, Kristi Jensen (Jeremy) of Russell and Casey Paluch (Dan) of Russell; his grandchildren, Tenley, Liam, Adley Thooft, Eastyn, Archer, Tracker Jensen, Ajax, Dyson and Ledger Paluch; and his siblings, Randy Thooft (Laureen) of Balaton, Rita Klukas (Chuck) of Russell, Rose Draper (Todd) of Marshall, Rhonda Newton (Criss) of Brookings, SD, Robert Thooft (Melanie) of Tyler and Butch Thooft (Kayleen) of Brookings, SD. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other friends.
