He is survived by: his wife Leona Mikkelsen (Swanson) of Tyler; his sons, Kent Mikkelsen (Deborah) of Tyler, Danny Mikkelsen (Kimberly) of Douglas and Timothy; his grandchildren, Kela Mikkelsen-Lemer (Jordan) of Golden, Drew Mikkelsen of Sioux Falls, Danica Daniels (TJ) of Douglas, Danelle Cartmill (Nate) of Inwood and Nick Vermeire (Leah) of Dubois, Wyoming; his great grandchildren, Cora, Wyatt, Wylder, Emma, Kaycee, Gracelynn, Easton and Adley; and his pet Kitty Cat of Tyler.
