He was predeceased by: his son Jon; his wife Pauli; and his former wife Jo Ann Kruse. He is survived by: his children, Joanie Peterson (Jim) and James Klein; his grandchildren, Emily Peterson Boone (Marc), Luke Peterson (Melissa) and Grace Johnson (Ryan); and his great grandchildren, Elle, Eli, Anthony, Henry, Archie and Grant.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking memorials be directed to the Tracy Area Animal Rescue.
