He is survived by: his wife Dona Tripp; his children, Doug Hanson (Sheryl) of Sioux Falls, Lisa Steinhouse (Steve) of Sioux Falls and Cheryl Neuberger (Todd) of Sioux Falls; his grandchildren, Mike Hanson (Kari), Teresa Hanson, Amber Meulebroeck (Todd), Matt, Andy Steinhouse, Nate Neuberger (Rudi), Kaity Barker (Jason) and Karly Neuberger; his great grandchildren, Horizon, Augustine Hanson, Conner Hanson, McKenzie Hanson, Caidynce Schmuhl, Kennedy, Carma Helton, Chase Hanson, Daxton, Cora, Bowen Meulebroeck, Nelle, Jules Neuberger, Ada and Palmer Barker; and his great great grandchildren, Audrianna Brust, Hayden Doescher, Jace and Leland Salazar.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First English Lutheran Church - Tyler (245 Hughes St, Tyler, MN 56178). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at the Danebod Cemetery - Tyler (301 US-14, Tyler, MN 56178).
