Earl L. Petersen Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Petersen and Metta Petersen (Haar); his wife Verona Mae Moon; his grandchild Melainie; his siblings, Norman, Lucile Utoft, Mildred Utoft and Oda Ann Petersen; and his nephews, Scott, Chris Petersen, Gary Utoft and Andy Christiansen.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Gordon (Alan) of Tyler, David Petersen (JoAnne) of Alexandria, MN and Daryle Petersen (Laura) of Eagan, MN.; his grandchildren, Jeri Rogers (Paul), Mindi Gordon, Britta Reder (Lynden), Kristian Petersen (Hannah), Andrea Peterson (Mathias) and Lucas Petersen; and his sister Carol Christiansen of Des Moines. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
In Earl's last years, he was afflicted with Alzheimer's and as that progressed, he continued to be the soft spoken, respectful, positive, kindest gentleman as always.
