He was predeceased by: his parents, Heinz Renken and Helene Renken (Anderson); and his parents-in-law, Jim and Kay Howard. He is survived by: his wife Carol of Tyler, MN; his children, Holly of Sioux Falls, SD and Dan (Corinne) of Ivanhoe, MN; his grandchildren, Chase, Dylan, Austin, Mercy and Nordene; his siblings, Mike (Cindy) of LaCrosse, WI, Terry (Norma) of Arco, MN, Ron (Jeanie) of Lakeland, MN, Mary Borman (Mike) of Aurora, CO and Kathy Renken (Pat) of Monroe, NE; and his brothers-in-law, Mike Howard (Barb) of Fargo, ND, David Howard (Renita) of Sherman, TX, Jimmy Howard (Lucy) of Lake Wylie, SC and Scott Howard (Amy) of Mayer, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, honorary grandchildren; his cat P. I. T. A; and throngs of friends.
Memorials will be directed to the: Ivanhoe Ambulance Service, Ivanhoe Fire Department, and Arco Fire Department.
