He was predeceased by: his parents, Jens Nielsen and Anna Nielsen; and his brother-in-law Aime Thooft. He is survived by: his daughters, Jackie LaPointe (Shawn) and Kat Hennen; his grandchildren, Ryan Hennen (Atali), Nick LaPointe (Jana) and Erin Anderson (Ronnie); his great grandchildren, Taylor, Michael, Riley, Weston, Casey and Kennedy; and his siblings, Betty Thooft, Robert Nielsen (Carol), Richard Nielsen (Eileen), Marie Grant (Galen), Ronald Nielsen (Joyce) and Larry Nielsen (Debbie).
