He was predeceased by: his parents, Svend Therkildsen and Kathrine Therkildsen (Duus); his wife Margaret; his son Wade Therkildsen; his grandson Kelly Christopher Hansen; and his sister Amy Svendsen.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Ballard (Neal) of Tyler, Paula Hansen (Owen) of West Fargo, ND, Mona Christianson (Mory) of Tyler and Twyla Hansen (Kevin) of Montevideo, MN. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and thirty-one great-grandchildren.
