She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Kerkaert and Rosalia Kerkaert; her sister-in-law Ruth Kerkaert; her son Jeffrey; her brothers, Andrew and Robert Kerkaert; her husband Leo Joseph Kohler; and her grandson Zachary Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Darwin (Lori Larimer) of Rochester, Patricia (Keith Erickson) of Rochester, Steve (Fathya Abdullah) of New Hope, Gregory (Teresa) of Lake Benton, Tamara (Richard Thompson) of Andover, Karen (Stephen Nelsen) of Hutchinson and Jason (Anne Marie) of Carmel, Indiana; and her sisters-in-law, Joanne Kerkaert of St. Michael and Cathy Kerkaert of Sioux Falls. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
