It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Allen Saamanen of Two Harbors, Minnesota, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on October 12, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Saamanen and Arne Saamanen; and his grandchildren, Miles and Julia Saamanen. He is survived by: his wife Kathie; his children, Cassandra Beardsley (Kevin), Michelle Carlson (Derek McRae), Nathaniel Saamanen (Renee) and Larissa Hubbartt (Derek); his grandchildren, Maddy, Morgan Beardsley, Autumn (Aaron Axford), Zane Carlson, Jossy, Olivia Saamanen and Anthony Hubbartt; his brother Gary Saamanen (Joanne); his sister-in-law Joan Gelineau (Bill Fox); and his nephews, Ryan Saamanen (Jaci), Aaron Gelineau (Missy), Adam Gelineau (Jennifer) and Lee Gelineau (Ivy Nelson).
