He is survived by: his children, Carol Kiehn of Clear Lake, MN, Douglas Laine (Denise) of Duluth, Shirley Ness of Two Harbors, Lois Laine (Steve Blettner) of Two Harbors, Allan Laine (Cindy) of Two Harbors and Daniel Laine (Jodi) of Two Harbors; and his siblings, Roy Laine (Peg) of East Bethel and Aili Merrill of Cloquet. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren.
