He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin and Wilma. He is survived by: his wife Carol Hanson; his children, Gregory Rasmussen (Angela) of Anoka, Debra Ukura (Bruce) of Two Harbors and April Rasmussen (Robert) of Two Harbors; his grandchildren, Nicolas, Bettina, John, Emily, Raymond, Matthew, Jessica and Sara; and his sisters, Elaine Ellefsen, Eleanor Larsen, Betty Merling (Jim) and Janet Rasmussen. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sunrise Funeral Home and Cremation Services & Cemetery (4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, Hermantown, MN 55811). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
