It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Leppala of Two Harbors, Minnesota, who passed away on August 4, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eino Leppala and Aileen Leppala (Holmes); his brother Dale Leppala; his son-in-law Wayne Dahl; and his great grandchild Ellie Esselstrom.
He is survived by: his friend Chet Alreck; his wife Carol Marie Johnson; his brother Charles Leppala (Sharon Murray); his brother-in-law Edward Johnson (Jane); his daughters, Sheila, Elaine James (Rob), LuAnn, Gerri Fuentes (Dan), Charlene Laiti (Bob) and Tracy Torgersen (Dale); his grandchildren, Bob James (Brittany), Kyle James (Rachel), Kylie Slette (Jake), Alec Fuentes (Megan), Chelsey Truty (Tony), Alicia Dougherty (John), Shane Torgersen, Rachael Laiti and Dylan Laiti; and his great grandchildren, Dax Fuentes, Emelyn James, Rio Slette, Luke Dougherty, Jax Truty, Haile, Landon, Rhys and Madison. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to French River Lutheran Church or the Clifton Fire Department would be appreciated.
