He was predeceased by: his nephew Joe Gillis; his grandparents, Victor Nylen, Alfred Sunde and Ruth Rindal; his uncles, Alan Nylen, Willard Sunde and Larry Sunde; and his cousins, Alan Sunde and Tim Nylen.
He is survived by: his mother Linda Sunde (Nylen) of Two Harbors; his daughter Katelyn Sunde (Dannon Hauser); his stepdaughter Jasmine Freeman of Vancouver; his father Don Sunde; his sister Beth Gillis (Sean) of St. Paul; and his grandmother Edna Sundstrom of Two Harbors.
