He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Inga (Stromme); his wife Marilyn; his sister Ramona Peterson; his half-sisters, Alice Wickstrom and Hildur Sandvik; and his mothers-in-law, Margaret "Peg" Peterson and Connie Wangles (Al).
He is survived by: his children, Brian (Laurie) of North Branch, Robert (Karen) of Minneapolis and Nancy Kienzle (Rick) of Island Lake; his brother Raymond Peterson of Little Canada; his grandchildren, Stephanie Mullen (Kyle), Ben Peterson (Erin), Stacie Peterson (Sagar Tolaney), Jenny Kienzle, Nikki Kienzle, Ted Jorstad and Marie Peterson; his great grandchildren, Gabby and Danger Mullen; and his friend Fran Magnuson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
