He is survived by: his wife Sandra Leckel; his daughters, Leandra, Paulina Flicek (Taylor) of Princeton and Tirzah; his brother Jan Petersen (Mary) of Avon Park, MN; his nieces and nephews, Todd, Kari, Kelly, Alicia, Michele, Janova, Barb, Alice and Linda; his mother-in-law Edith Leckel; and his brother-in-law Dave Leckel.
