He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Olsen and Marjorie Olsen (Cooke); his wife Janice; and his siblings, Lloyd Olsen and Beverly Erickson.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Olsen, Daryl Olsen, Kathleen Larson (Bruce) and Kevin Olsen (Chris Mahai); and his sister Linda Aho (Rodney).
