With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Falkinburg-Gillis (Two Harbors, Minnesota), born in Duluth, Minnesota, who passed away on September 19, 2023 at the age of 28. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Joe Gillis; his grandparents, Henry, Patricia Gillis and Linda Nylen Sunde; and his uncle Mike Sunde.
He is survived by: his fiancée Joan Prinz; his parents, Sean Gillis and Beth Gillis; his siblings, Krys McLaughlin (Kendra), Sarah Gillis (Austin), Libby Ell (Jack) and Amanda Falkinburg; his nieces, Grace and Faye; his nephew Alex; and his grandfather Donald Sunde. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family is requesting memorials in lieu of flowers.
