It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Pierce of Two Harbors, Minnesota, who passed away on January 14, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Pierce and Maude Pierce (Taylor); his former wife Joan Harstad; his son David (Nancy); his sister Liz Schmidt; his daughter-in-law Pam Pierce; his grandson Eric Olson; and his stepgrandson Christian Groleau.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his sons, Cal (Rita) and Mark; his siblings, Bruce (Gayle), James, Earl, Alvin (Martha) and Mary Ault; and his nieces and nephews, Mary Lee Barker (Dan), Jean Butler and Charlotte Groleau (Jim). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
