He was predeceased by: his parents, Swaney Cavallin and Margaret Cavallin (Driscoll); his wife Beverly; and his brothers, Steven, Robert and Gary.
He is survived by: his children, Dan Cavallin (Tracey), Stacey Hedin (Steve), Tom Cavallin (Amy) and Ann Gilbert (Jim); his grandchildren, Jade (Steve), Chase (Cassandra), Lane (Megan), Jessica (Nate), Scott, Mac, Cody (Keira), Quaid, Maggie (Andy), Duke and Kennedy; his great grandchildren, Daniel, Olivia, Cash, Gracie, Noah, Levi and Liam; his siblings, Bill Cavallin (Shay), Suzie Stokes and Mary Simonsen (Tom); his siblings-in-law, Kathy, Lolly, George (Terri) and Brad MacFarlane (Diane); and his friend Ruth Ann Udenberg. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
