He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Thomas and Elizabeth Marie Granlund (Capistrant); his brothers, Jack and Lyle; his son David; his sons-in-law, Dick Trempe and Stuart McManus; and his granddaughters, Lena Spees and Jordan Tribby.

He is survived by: his former wife Diana Davis; his wife Kathy Granlund; his brother Chuck Granlund; his children, Kim Wall, Cheryl Trempe, Thomas Granlund (Terry), John Granlund (Karen), Julie Billings (Wayne), Geri Tribby (Rob), Michael Granlund, Jennifer McManus and Amy Granlund; and his stepchildren, Don and Dianne Spees. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
