She was predeceased by: her parents, Arne Arneson and Mayme Arneson (Miklebost); her husband Harris Garberg; her sister Marlys Steen; and her granddaughter Abby.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Dahl (Steve) of Sioux Falls, SD, Bryan Garberg (Clare) of Lake Park, MN, William Garberg (Marcia) of Hutchinson, MN and Bruce Garberg (Theresa); her sibling Valley; her grandchildren, Andra Kuznia (Nathan), Kristofer Garberg (Pari), Adam Garberg (Colie Clapp), Maggie Falenschek (Nikoli), Matthew Garberg, Liz Bennett, Jessica Garberg, Ashley Garberg, Gretchen Garberg, Zachary Garberg (Kasey), Kelly Vanderhedyt (Jerry), Benjamin Dahl, Leslie Cannon, Michael Garberg (Kalee) and Jon Garberg (Haley); and her great grandchildren, Emma, Logan, Makenna, Quinn, Mark, Michael, Ada, Jonathan, Devon, Braden, Jackson, Monroe, Dior, Peyton C, Gavin, Madison, Reese, Grant, Jazmine and Peyton G..
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (202-298 Pleasant Ave SW, Twin Valley, MN 56584). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to Zion Lutheran Church or Hospice of the Red River Valley in Phyllis's honor.
