He is survived by: his parents, Duane Thornton and Myrna Thornton (Underdahl); his wife Angie Hettervig; his daughters, Kate Payne (Andy) of West Fargo, ND, Paige Babler (Sam) of Ottertail, MN and Madison Thornton; his grandsons, Nolan, Myles, Otto and Banks; his brothers, Garrett (Julie) and Chad (Teresa) of Pelican Rapids, MN; and his aunts and uncles, Fred Thornton (LoAnn), Dale Thornton (Terri), Carol Rosenau (Gary), Edna Kazeck (Cliff), Pam Gunnerson (Charles) and David Underdahl (Sandy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
