With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Lachappelle of Twin Valley, Minnesota, born in Warroad, Minnesota, who passed away on July 25, 2020 at the age of 96. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph LaChappelle and Eliza LaChappelle (Guibault); his wife Erna Aichele; his great grandchildren, Macayla Hubert and Asher Schneider; his son-in-law Rev. Dean Bell; and his siblings, Art, John, Jim, Joe, Gene, Ralph, Rene, Steve, MaryLou and Leone.
He is survived by: his children, Theresa Warnsholz (Ross) of Detroit Lakes, MN, Michael LaChappelle (Millie) of Stanley, WI, Leon LaChappelle (Theresa) of Washburn, WI and MaryAnn Bell of Ada, MN; and his sisters, JoAnn Vistad of Roseau, MN and Kathryn Klein of Sidney, NE. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson.
Following all safety protocols due to COVID-19 restrictions, all must wear a mask to participate.
