We are sad to announce that on January 30, 2024, at the age of 90, Allan Peterson of Twin Valley, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Peterson and Nora Peterson (Bjerkley); his siblings, Valley, Edgard, Carmen Peterson and Bernice Christensen; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Christensen and Lenora Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Bjerken; his daughters, Carol Kvidt (Dave) of Detroit Lakes, MN, Susan Kasprowicz (Mike) of Moorhead, MN, Barbara Gerlach (Dennis) of Moorhead and Kathy Varty (Charles); his grandchildren, Jeremy Kvidt (Kristen), Sarah George (Patrick), Anne Slaymaker (Ken), Nick Boreen (Laura), Andy Kasprowicz (Megan), Eric Kasprowicz (Darcy), Emily Evert (Shane), Lisa Mayfield (Tyler), Jason Gerlach, Steve Varty (Lindsay), Tom Varty (Kelsey) and Jane Varty (Riley Partlow); his great grandchildren, Morgan Boreen, Gretta Boreen, Braeden Kvidt, Miles George, Lucy George, Haley Kasprowicz, Brenna Kasprowicz, Lexi Kasprowicz, Payton Evert, Parker Evert, Jack Varty and Alec Varty; and his sisters-in-law, Marcy Peterson, Jean Hanson, Darlene McArthur and Gloria Freund. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
