Melvin Evans Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Evans of Truman, Minnesota, who passed away on November 10, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Evan Evans and Adaline Evans (Sargent); his wife Mary Evans; his parents-in-law, Ralph and Lydia Jurgenson; and his siblings, Elaine Mitchell (Kenneth), Lloyd Evans (Sybil), Leonard Evans (Lela), Robert Evans (Edith), Doris Hylen (Eddie), Clemons VanVoorhis, Harlan Evans (Anita), Doyle Evans and Donald Evans (Shirley).

He is survived by: his children, Wanda Wright (Dennis) of Fairmont, MN, Patricia Carman (David) of Council Bluffs, IA, Beverly Paskewitz (Gary) of Staples, MN, Wayne Evans of Le Sueur, MN and Diana Evans of Truman, MN; and his sister Noreen VanVoorhis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Masks and social distancing will be required, and the number of attendees will be monitored.
