Kay M. Sandersfeld Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kay M. Sandersfeld of Truman, Minnesota, born in Fairmont, Minnesota, who passed away on June 19, 2020 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Dorendorf and Delores Dorendorf (Ambrose); her sister-in-law Julia Sandersfeld Selchert; and her parents-in-law, Alfred and Marzella Sandersfeld.

She is survived by: her husband Ronald Sandersfeld of Truman, MN; her children, Annette Tesch (Travis) of Everly, IA, Mike Sandersfeld (Kari Thomas) of Truman, MN and Amanda Dehmer (Eddy) of St. Michael, MN; her grandchildren, McKenzie Reynolds, Kayla Reynolds, Paige Reynolds, Tanner Tesch, Miles Gillum, Moses Gillum and Gideon Dehmer; her sisters, JoAnn Flachsmann (Armin) of Sun Lakes, AZ, Ginny Schafer of Denver, CO and Susan Knight (Jerry) of Severna Park, MD; and her brothers-in-law, Merlin Sandersfeld (Rebecca) of Harris, IA, Vernon Sandersfeld (Dee Ann) of Hamilton, MT and Chuck Selchert (JoAnn) of Osceola, WI. She is also survived by her husband, and spending time with her children and beloved grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19 guidelines, social distancing guidelines will be observed.

The family suggests that memorials be directed to Saint James Lutheran School in Northrop, Zion Fraser Lutheran Church (Kitchen Remodeling Fund) in Fraser Township, Redeemer Christian Academy in Wayzata, or Martin Luther High School in Northrop.
