With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josephine Rusert (Truman, Minnesota), born in Fairview, Alberta, who passed away on March 19, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Jabs and Julia Jabs; and her husband Rev. Lyle Rusert. She is survived by: her children, Rev. Matthew Rusert South (Terry), Laura Davison (Kyle) of Fargo, ND, Angie Lyng (Tom) of Pella, IA, Rev. Nathan Rusert (Lori) of Tell City, IN and Jennifer Rusert of Eagan; her grandchildren, Julia, Robyn, Lukas, Anna, Alex, Christopher, Benjamin, Emily, Kristin, Joshua, Timothy, Jonathan and Rebekah; her siblings, Emily Isley and Wille Jabs (Betty); and her sister-in-law Lorna Clemenson (Oliver). She is also survived by 11 Great Grandchildren.
The family prefers memorials to the scholarship funds at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, Truman, MN or Martin Luther High School, Northrop, MN.
