He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Art, Elaine Rode, George, Ruth Caswell, Lee and Geneva; his aunts, Marlys Ehlert and Lori DeBuhr; and his father-in-law Perry Rosenbrook.
He is survived by: his parents, Dennis Rode and Pamela Rode; his wife Rosalyn "Roz" Rode; his sons, Easton and Kyler; his sister Emily Langer (Kyle); his niece Livie Langer; his mother-in-law Alisha Barnett; his sister-in-law Anna Randall; his niece Jacqi Peterson; and his nephew Alex Peterson (Hannah). He is also survived by 5 great-nieces and nephews; and countless other friends and family.
